
Dana Sussman is the Senior Vice President at Pregnancy Justice, a legal and advocacy organization dedicated to defending the rights of people with the capacity for pregnancy against criminalization and rights violations based on pregnancy or pregnancy outcomes.
With more than two decades of experience in reproductive justice and legal advocacy, Sussman has been instrumental in guiding Pregnancy Justice’s research, policy, and litigation efforts, particularly in the post-Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization era.
She has co-led major projects documenting the rising trend of pregnancy-related prosecutions, and she often appears in media and legal forums discussing the intersections of criminal law, public health, and reproductive autonomy.
