Jerrie Johnson (she/they) is a Philadelphia-born actress, poet, host, and arts activist known for her magnetic performances and fearless spirit. A graduate of Penn State and the American Conservatory Theater, Jerrie stars as Tye Reynolds on Amazon Prime’s Harlem and appears in Netflix’s Survival of the Thickest. Beyond the screen, they are a published poet, a wellness advocate, and a champion for food accessibility in underserved communities. Through every role—on stage, on screen, and in life—Jerrie embodies joy, authenticity, and the transformative power of art.
