
Kimberly JaJuan, of the Haliwa-Saponi tribe in Northeastern North Carolina, is a graduate of The Eastman School (BM) & The Juilliard School (MM). She recently made her Directing debut with Safe Harbors and New York Theater Workshop in celebration of Native American History Month, and as an Actor, has appeared as ‘Coyote' in PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE INDIANS, 'Grace Goodeagle’ in PICHER PROJECT, 'Aki' in AJIJAAK ON TURTLE ISLAND, & her One-Woman show portraying Natalie Cole in MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY: THE MUSIC OF NATALIE COLE. Principal roles on Broadway, Off-Broadway & National Tours include: RAGTIME, DREAMGIRLS, MARIE CHRISTINE, KING DAVID, RUNNING MAN (Purlitzer Prize), SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE, and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s MUSIC OF THE NIGHT. Film & TV credits: several appearances in the “Tony Awards”, “America’s Got Talent”, “Law & Order”, “The Life”, “Broadway Damage”, "Preaching to the Choir". Vocal credits: Original cast recordings of King David, Marie Christine, Great Joy I (Grammy nominated), and Great Joy II w/Broadway Inspirational Voices. Kimberly made her Broadway Investor/Producing debut w/AMERICAN SON (Broadway and Netflix). Followed by HADESTOWN (Broadway, National Tour, and West End), AIN'T TOO PROUD (Broadway, National Tour, West End), CHICKEN & BISCUITS (Pre-Broadway, Broadway), LITTLE GIRL BLUE (Off-Broadway), & MJ, THE MUSICAL (Broadway, National Tour, West End and Hamburg).
