Shania Banton is a filmmaker and mental wellness advocate with over a decade of experience telling powerful, culturally rooted stories through film and community centered events. As Head of Programming and Events at Sad Girls Club, she curates experiences that prioritize emotional well-being and bridge the gap between mental health resources and communities of color. She’s also the founder of Mental Melodies, a wellness initiative that blends meditation with music to make healing more accessible across New York City.
